Privacy notice
Plain-English summary
ListBoost collects only what it needs to run your account, generate listings, save your history, process subscriptions and keep the service safe. We do not ask for your Vinted login, we do not auto-post to Vinted, and we do not sell your personal data.
1. Who we are
ListBoost is an independent listing workflow tool for UK Vinted sellers. ListBoost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with Vinted. You do not need to connect a Vinted account to use ListBoost.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, password hash, email verification status and session records.
- Listing data: item notes, selected category, generated titles, descriptions, keywords, price guidance, photo checklist, buyer replies and saved history.
- Photo data: photos you choose to upload for photo-based listing generation.
- Billing data: Stripe customer, subscription, checkout and invoice identifiers, plan status, billing cycle dates and usage limits.
- Support data: messages you send to support, including your email address and any details needed to solve the issue.
- Operational data: timestamps, IP addresses, user-agent strings, server logs, error logs and rate-limit events used to keep the service reliable and secure.
3. Password and account security
Passwords are stored as salted pbkdf2 hashes. We never store your plain-text password. Sessions use first-party cookies. Email verification is required before logged-in app access, and password reset tokens are single-use and time-limited.
4. How listing generation works
To generate a listing, ListBoost sends the notes and/or photos you provide to AI model providers for inference. The model returns structured listing sections such as title, description, keywords, price guidance, photo checklist and buyer reply. We process this content only to provide the service, improve reliability, protect against abuse and save your history when your account uses that feature.
5. AI providers and processors
We use processors needed to run the service, including hosting infrastructure, email delivery, OpenAI for generation, Anthropic as a fallback provider where configured, and Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing. Stripe processes card details directly. ListBoost does not see or store full card numbers, CVC codes or payment credentials.
6. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account.
- To verify your email and send password reset or important service messages.
- To generate and save copy-ready Vinted listing sections.
- To show your dashboard, listing history, plan, billing status and usage allowance.
- To process subscriptions, invoices, cancellations and plan changes through Stripe.
- To investigate errors, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits and protect the service.
7. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not ask for or store your Vinted password.
- We do not auto-post listings to Vinted.
- We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
- We do not send marketing email unless you have consented.
8. Legal bases
We process account, listing and billing data to perform our contract with you. We process security logs, rate limits and abuse signals for our legitimate interests in keeping ListBoost reliable and safe. We process legally required billing and tax records where required by law. Where consent is needed, you can withdraw it by contacting support.
9. Retention
Account data and listing history are kept while your account is active. Billing and invoice records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or dispute handling. Support messages are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain a useful support record. You can request account deletion at any time.
10. Your rights under UK GDPR
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or export of your personal data. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your data is handled. To make a request, email support@listboost.uk from the email address on your ListBoost account.
11. Cookies
ListBoost uses first-party cookies needed for authentication and app security. These cookies keep you signed in and help protect your session. We do not use advertising cookies.
12. International processing
Some processors may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections and provider data-processing terms.
13. Changes
If we materially change this notice, we will update this page and change the date above. If a change materially affects your account or rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
